The badge says "I'm serious, and I'm doing this the right way" before a single message is sent.
Link a chaperone (wali) — a parent, sibling or friend. Your matches see a badge in chat that they're present, so everyone knows where they stand.

Chaperone mode lets a Minkee member link a trusted person — a parent, sibling, relative, friend or religious leader — as their chaperone (wali). Matches see a "chaperone present" badge in the chat. The chaperone can't read your messages, and you can hide the badge, add another chaperone or remove one at any time from Profile › Settings › Chaperone.
How it works
They'll find it in their app under Profile › Settings › Chaperone.
Enter their ID, what you call them and how you know them — parent, sibling, friend, religious leader and more.
A "chaperone present" badge shows in your chats. You can hide it any time.
Why people use it
For many Muslims, having a wali present is part of getting to know someone the right way. Others simply want a parent or close friend in the loop. Chaperone mode works for both — it's optional, and Minkee is open to everyone.
The badge says "I'm serious, and I'm doing this the right way" before a single message is sent.
Keep the people who matter most part of the journey from the start.
Hide the badge, add another chaperone or remove one whenever you choose.
The other side
Every Minkee member has a Minkee ID. Share yours with the person you're chaperoning and they add it in their app. You'll see everyone you chaperone in one place.
